Comptia A+

The CompTIA A+ course consists of two exams. Students need to clear both in order to achieve this certification.The first exam code is 220-901. The course contents for this exam include computer technology basics, basic networking tasks, and setup of different hardware like PCs, laptops etc. The other exam you need to appear for is CompTIA A+ 220-902. This exam is about installing and configuring operating systems of PCs. Individuals also need to learn how to configure common features like email and network connectivity. They are required to be proficient in performing such tasks on Apple iOS, Android OS, and other mobile phone operating systems. Students can appear for either of the exam series in order to gain CompTIA A+ certification.

Exam Details

Exam Codes	CompTIA A+ 220-1001 (Core 1) and 220-1002 (Core 2) Candidates must complete both 1001 and 1002 to earn certification. Exams cannot be combined across the series.

What is CompTIA A+?

CompTIA A+ (A Plus) is an entry-level computer certification for PC computer service technicians. The exam is designed to certify the competency of entry-level PC computer service professionals in installing, maintaining, customizing, and operating personal computers.
It’s an door opener for people who wants to work in the IT field.

Do you need CompTIA A+?

If you have no experience in the IT field and you want to work in this field. CompTIA A+ is the perfect start. So by all means go take it please.

If you have some experience with computers, for example as a help desk then you will be already know most of the CompTIA A+ topics, So it won’t take you a lot of study to pass. I recommend you take it to get deeper understanding and properly a little more money.

If you have many years of experience fixing computers and you are comfortable dealing with computers problems I suggest you go to CompTIA Network+.
